Galen is looking to expand our team and are looking for Technical Recruiters in the Staffing Industry.

We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial, out of the box thinkers who will apply their knowledge and skills in the successful search of Information Technology candidates for consulting and fulltime placement opportunities with our clients. The candidate will join a dynamic team and work in proven recruiting framework.



The summary of the position is to Search, Solicit, Identify, and Qualify prospective information technology candidates for technical disciplines in both consulting and permanent placement within our clientele. Identify & Qualify potential candidates through recruiting phone calls, internal databases, internet job boards, social media and other search engines, and cold calls. Promote & network the interests of Galen by rendering thorough and competent recruiting techniques. Continually build and maintain a pipeline of talent to accommodate for current and future client jobs as well as maintain and upkeep of candidate’s files in company’s internal database.

  • Tech savvy - Understand and use the most modern technology (social media)


  • 3+ Years of recruiting experience, ideally with an IT staffing firm.
  • Ability to display problem-solving skills & be able to implement solutions with moderate guidance.
  • Ability to be well versed in social media and Internet recruiting techniques: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc…
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly, are excellent at multi-tasking, have excellent communication and writing skills, as well as a pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, be a team player, and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, the ability to prioritize work assignments, and the ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality are also required.


 Galen offers a generous compensation structure that allows top performers who excel in the position some of the highest compensation in the industry.
